The Rev. Elizabeth Phillips was ordained to the Sacred Order of Priests on October 21, 2023 here at St. Philip's Episcopal Church. She has a Diploma in Anglican Studies from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, VA. and a Masters in Theological Studies degree from Duke Divinity School. Rev. Phillips is certified as a Spiritual Director through the Haden Institute at Mt. Carmel Monastery in Niagara, Canada. Prior to entering seminary, Rev. Phillips worked in the banking industry for thirty years, primarily in North Carolina. She currently lives on the family farm in Quantico, MD with her husband, Hank, and their three labs, Taylor, Beau, and Luke.
Daniel Cherrix has been a professional organist in the Episcopal Church for over twenty years. He is a leader and instructor for the Royal School of Church Music and has lead a number of children and adult choirs.
